Advancing Sustainability for communities across Minnesota

The Minnesota Project champions the sustainable production and equitable distribution of energy and food in communities across Minnesota. The Clean Energy Program at The Minnesota Project works to greatly expand development of renewable energy resources like wind, biomass and solar in Minnesota and the Midwest, while at the same time promoting policies and practices that result in the efficient use of energy. We are committed to working in coalition with diverse stakeholders to bridge interests, broaden support, build capacity and foster local empowerment.

Dedication to Community Energy:
We are passionate about helping local communities supply a majority of their own electric, thermal, and food needs through sustainable projects that build community relationships and add to the local economy.
